I’m one of those lucky people who absolutely love their job. I’ve just always dreamed of creating beautiful, inspiring spaces. With a background in Interior design and after graduating from a photography degree I combined my passions and began my styling career working at Ideal Home magazine. After 6 years there I headed off to Sydney, Australia. It was in Sydney that I launched my career as a freelance stylist. During my time in Australia I was lucky enough to work with some amazing photographers for numerous editorial clients and spend several months covering the Style Director position at Australian House & Garden. Since my return to the UK in 2011 I’ve continued freelancing to work with a wide range editorial and commercial clients.
I thrive upon the variety of my work. From styling a few pages for seasonal press look books to art directing and styling entire brochures. Creating striking shots for billboard campaigns to styling beautiful magazine covers and craft features. Whether working with big high street names and multi-national companies or helping small independent brands establish their own unique look and feel, I take a huge sense of pride in what I do and tackle each brief with creative flair and an infectious enthusiasm…and I love every second of it!
I can work along side you on all aspects of a shoot. Mood boarding initial concepts; sourcing locations, designing schemes and sets; commissioning set builders, seamstress, crafts people, sourcing props, arranging shoot logistics. Whether taking the creative lead myself or helping to realize the creative concepts of others. Through my trusted approach, big book of contacts and over 15 years of experience I can help brands build a strong visual portfolio of beautiful and inspirational images.
